You will be able to see the end of the mountains and look out to the foothills where Reverend Rundle made his first camp in 1841. Big Horn sheep, deer and bears are frequently seen at the water's edge.

All tours are conducted by experienced captains who are familiar with the history, geology, animals, park policy and native involvement in our area.

Due to the popularity of this trip, may we suggest being at our docks 30 minutes prior to sailing. All boats are glass enclosed, government inspected and may be heated for inclement weather. Also located at Lake Minnewanka is a snack bar with a wide variety of hot and cold take-out foods and beverages, a picnic area to relax in and scenic nature walks to further explore this beautiful area.

Lake Minnewanka is the only lake in Banff National Park where power boats are welcome, an is virtually a fishing paradise. Lake trout and Rocky Mountain Whitefish abound. Guided charter fishing trips are available, or you may wish to try your luck in one of our rental boats, which come complete with safety equipment and fuel.
