Shadow Lake Lodge
Nestled amidst glaciated mountain peaks and high alpine meadows, historic Brewster’s Shadow Lake Lodge provides seasonal accommodations for cross country skiers and hikers in the backcountry of Banff National Park.
Accommodations are private individual propane heated log cabins featuring cozy feather duvets and log furnishings. The dining room serves three gourmet meals daily, along with afternoon tea. Relax and unwind around the cozy wood stove in the original Shadow Lake cabin with a glass of wine, a good book or visit with family & friends at the end of the day.
 Washroom facilities include pit toilets and hot showers! Eco-friendly soaps and shampoos are supplied for our guests, and in the winter months, we fire up the sauna.
Well established trails lead through vast meadows to mountain passes and down to adjoining valleys and hiking and cross country skiing can be as relaxing or as challenging as you wish. Take the short trail to pristine Shadow Lake, or hike up to Gibbon Pass for the 360° view. Maps are available at the lodge for the extensive network of trails.
